We are delighted to have got hold of some of this very small microlot from our friends at Ocafi coffee. It's the first from this producer for us and the first arara variety. The Arara coffee variety is a high-yielding, disease-resistant Arabica cultivar developed in Brazil. A natural cross between Yellow Catuai and Obatã, it is celebrated in specialty coffee for its natural sweetness, velvety body, and complex flavor profile featuring notes of honey, brown sugar, and yellow fruits. The processing of this coffee has really elevated the fruity character, and in the cup it presents notes of tropical fruit that remind us of fruit punch or tropical fruit juice.
